The Northeast Vermont Prevention Consortium is pleased to announce an upcoming funding opportunity! ‘Save the Dates’ for the soon to be released Request for Proposal (RFP) and other important dates related to the RFP addressing substance misuse prevention across all ages throughout our region.
Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) Prevention Services, Umbrella, Inc. and Lamoille Family Center are working in consortium as the Region 3 Prevention Lead grant recipient, which includes St. Johnsbury, Morrisville, and Newport health districts. This grant, made possible by the Vermont Department of Health, Division of Substance Use Programs, has created new opportunities to build substance misuse prevention capacity and fill geographic and other identified gaps in our region.
Through the RFP process, funding will be sub-granted to support initiatives that address the identified priority areas within our region. These priority areas will be identified in the RFP. Nontraditional partners and those with innovative ideas are encouraged to apply.
