The Rocktoberfest 5K is a Fun Run/Walk held in conjunction with Morrisville’s 3rd AnnualRocktoberfest celebration.  The Fun Run/Walk supports and promotes healthy, active lifestyles.  Proceeds will benefit and be made available to support local food initiatives, bike and pedestrian projects and improvements to local parks and recreational areas through the coordinated efforts of Healthy Lamoille Valley.  Funds raised at last year’s race supported bikeracks in Morrisville and Cambridge, Eden Central School’s Playground Project, and Johnson’s Skatepark improvements.  Groups interested in applying for these funds should contact Kate Whitehead at [email protected] for complete details.

The 5K course starts at:
Oxbow Park, 257 Portland St., Morrisville, VT
Race day check-in and registration will be at the Oxbow.

Student $15* (12-18)
Children under 12 free

The Course:

The 5k course starts and loops around the Oxbow, goes up Pleasant St., to Main St., and continues up Rte. 15A where it will connect with the Rail Trail.  Runners will follow the Rail Trail back to Pleasant St., and then cross over to Portland St., to finish.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female in each age group. All runners/walkers will receive a finisher’s ribbon/medal.
