ello – It’s that time of year again where we come together to make our towns better places to live by cleaning up the roadside trash that’s accumulated throughout the winter. Green Up Day is Saturday! Check in with your local town office for bags and info on your community celebrations.
We’ve recently heard that some highway crews have been encountering needles in their spring cleanup. Please use a stick or rake to turn over trash and leaf clutter before reaching your hands into an area to pick up trash. Wear protective work gloves. Supervise children and youth who may be helping in the collection.
