Healthy Lamoille Valley is pleased to invite all parents/caregivers to our monthly Parent Cafe Series. These monthly gatherings are designed to highlight a community resource or parenting skill and then encourage conversation with other parents/caregivers from around the region. Breakout groups will be facilitated by local school and mental counselors arranged by children’s ages, i.e. elementary, middle, and high school parent discussion rooms.

Alison Link, PhD, is an adjunct professor, international presenter, consultant and specialist in leisure education as well as the Policy and Community Outreach Coordinator for Healthy Lamoille Valley. April 1st – Skills for Creating Open Communication – Rob Carey
Rob Carey is the Lamoille Restorative Programs Coordinator at the Lamoille Restorative Center. Rob has co-facilitated the Dad’s group through the E-MC2 Community Center in Morrisville. Rob is the dad of three young children and has a unique appreciation for cookies and all things sweet!

Providing free nutrition education programs to students and families in Lamoille County through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).Katie has an excitement for working with youth and families!
